Costa Rica Es Muy Bonita!

We had a fantastic vacation! What an amazing trip!!! It will take a few separate posts to tell you all the neat stuff we did and to show all the beautiful pictures. In order to "set the scene" here are some pictures of the awesome house we stayed at:

WOW!

Cindy and I must be discussing how beautiful Costa Rica is :)

A little deck off the dining room, with my favorite, a rocking chair

View from the front door, what a climb those steps were!

The main deck off the living room

First morning on the deck, Andrew & Rachel, so cute! Andrew looks a little camera shy :)

We had gorgeous views from the deck of the Pacific Ocean. We were on the west coast of Costa Rica, about the mid-to-southern way down the country, in a cute little town called Quepos.

Look at these amazing views! The water was so blue, I could never tire of looking at it.

The sisters on the deck our first day, Saturday morning

One the right-hand side of the deck is the guest house. The main house had 3 rooms & bathrooms, with another 2 in the guest house.

To the left of the deck was a side lawn that meet a door leading out of our bedroom onto a little patio area, which continues around the side of the house to the pool.

The living room after family yoga--don't worry, there will be pictures of that later! :)

Steps leading up to the dining room and kitchen, with stairs off to the right up to Barry & Cindy's master bedroom, and Chels & my bedroom is just before the stairs.

Our cute room! The windows were all screens, no glass, so we got plenty of light and breezes through the 3 windows and our own door leading outside. We also had a beautiful ocean view!

Our bathroom with the cheerful tiles and neat sunken shower.

The master bedroom had the coolest bathroom, completely open with the above pictured hot tub with a great view of the ocean.

This is the deck off the master bedroom, so many places to relax & soak up the sun and scenery!

The dining room and kitchen, with a door from the kitchen going out to the pool. The 3rd bedroom and bathroom are off to the right of the kitchen.

The pool was naturally heated by the sun and was always warm and inviting. I love to swim and definitely took every opportunity to enjoy having a pool!

There were plenty of chaise loungers and another patio dining set by the pool so the whole family could relax together.

This was definitely an amazing vacation! We all loved the house and had such a fun time relaxing and spending time together there. Stay tuned for more pictures and stories about our adventures!
